I just recently installed an Exchange setup using a FE/BE configuration with the FE server sitting in a DMZ. I am seeing events 9095 and 9096 every minute in Event Viewer on the FE server. I know that this is not normal. Has anybody experienced this before and if so, how did you fix it? It does not seem to affect the server in any way so I am not too worried about it but I would like to get this issue resolved. Any help would be appreciated. BTW, this is Exchange 2003.

Thanks for the links. I tried that before I posted with no resolve. Update: I configured the registry to disable directory service pings on the front end server and after a little while the constant 9095 and 9096 entries stopped. Not sure why this is but I will monitor this further. Maybe someone here can shed some light on this.
